One-off and longer-grass enquiries
If the lawn has missed several cuts, say so when enquiring. Long grass can conceal objects and changes in ground level. Point out known features and take photographs from safe access points.
The first objective and any follow-up should be agreed separately. Read planning a cut for long grass before expecting the same visit as an ordinary trim. If dense growth affects the whole garden rather than just the lawn, ask about clearance.
If the lawn has only recently been laid or seeded
A newly established lawn is a different enquiry from routine mowing. Include whether it was laid as turf or grown from seed and, if you know it, when it was done. Do not book it as an ordinary cut without explaining its stage of establishment. Edges and cuttings

The right interval depends on growth, conditions and your preferred finish. We can discuss regular visits and review the routine as the garden changes.
Can you do a one-off cut?
Yes. Send current photographs and explain how long the grass has been left. A lawn with substantial growth may need assessment and a different scope from a routine cut.
What happens to the clippings?
Green-waste removal is part of our services. Confirm the cuttings arrangements in the quote and mention any older waste already waiting to be removed.
Can mowing fix every patchy lawn?
No. A patchy lawn may need assessment beyond mowing. Tell us about the problem so the enquiry is not treated as a promise that a grass cut will resolve it.
